Biography

Charlotte was born and raised in England and travelled extensively worldwide while working for BOAC later British Airways Overseas. This sparked her passion for colour, detail and texture and recognises flora and fauna as being sources of inspiration for her photography.

She has worked with calligraphy, embroidery and tapestry for many years and, on a relocation move to Southern California inspired by near year round flowering in a sub tropical climate, her interest in flora and fauna rose again.

Besides working at the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park she also started Photography and Botanical Art classes - her passion was rekindled.

On returning to South West England, Charlotte studied landscapes at Buckland Abbey in Devon . She then combined this with her passion for Photography and aspires to transfer as much as possible of colour, light and atmosphere of subjects into her photographs.

Combining all these elements she has been accepted as a Licentiate with The Royal Photographic Society.
